Full description
Individual flowers have been cut from reclaimed and vintage fabrics and appliqued onto a blue background to create a pretty posy.
Pretty flowers, in shades of pink and red, have been carefully cut from recycled and vintage fabrics. The flowers have been arranged in a posy on a blue striped fabric background, backed by a layer of 'thick felt' wadding. Using back-stitch, and red thread, the flowers have been hand-appliqued in position. The design has been enhanced by French knots in white and green vintage cotton threads.
The heart has been edged in blanket stitch in blue thread. A hanging loop has been made from hand-made cord in unbleached flax. The back of the heart has been finished with grey felt.
