I love birds and they are an endless source of inspiration for me. I have created a series of bird patterns that are really easy to stitch and which use just a handful of colours but are a realistic depiction of the bird.

Tit Family sampler - a counted cross stitch pattern of the seven members of the British tit family.
What's a sampler?
A sampler is a large design made up of smaller designs, which can also be stitched separately.

DESIGN DETAILS
Stitch count: 116 x 119
Size on 16/32 count fabric: 7.3 x 7.5 inches (18.5 x 19cm)
Threads: DMC stranded cotton
Technique: whole cross stitch and a small amount of back stitch
Pattern file includes black and white symbol chart, colour symbol charts, symbol key and colour image of finished design for reference.
The second file includes basic instructions and stitching tips.
