I love birds and they are an endless source of inspiration for me. I have created a series of bird patterns that are really easy to stitch and which use just a handful of colours but are a realistic depiction of the bird.

Birds of Britain sampler - a counted cross stitch pattern of nine colourful and well-known British birds.
What's a sampler?
A sampler is a large design made up of smaller designs, which can also be stitched separately.
What's included?
The sampler of nine birds both in colour, and black and white, plus separate patterns for blue tit, coal tit, great tit, robin, goldfinch, greenfinch, bullfinch, kingfisher and great spotted woodpecker.
There are two versions of the sampler; one with the whole pattern on one page, and one with the chart slightly larger and in two parts over two pages for easier reading. Use the arrows on the chart to line up the two halves.
