I use the Post Office 48hr service for parcels they are slightly more expensive but reliable and treat parcels with more respect than others!, if your purchase is urgent however contact me and for a little more I can send next day.
I strive to recycle, the majority of my wood stock has been accumulated over many years, and in some cases donated, and this , I believe, helps to keep prices reasonable. To reduce my carbon footprint I make my own packages using salvaged cardboard - quite interesting as well!. The packaging tape and minimal bubble wrap sadly cannot usually be reused.
I found some lovely fir cones and tried to turn them, its very difficult as the petals spin off, hence it took quite a few before I made this pen, I'm please with it and using another cone made this handsome stand with an inclined from to fit, if required a presentation plate. Its a unique desk pen

This is a lovely pen and hardwood mount, the pen body and the holder were made from Fir cones, The front of the mount is inclined to allow buyer to add an engraved plate as required.
