I have a passion for colour, especially bright and unusual colour combinations. I have taken inspiration for this necklace from the necklace I made for Gudrun Sjoden in 2021.

Full description
Lariat necklace featuring a glorious mixture of beads in strong shades of lime green, turquoise and orange. The beads include large and small painted wood flowers, felt balls, glass, Polaris and wooden beads, as well as antique silver tone bird, leaf and flower beads. The necklace is finished at the ends with antique silver tone leaf charms and is strung on strong, flexible waxed linen thread.
The large wood flowers are approx 30mm and the large felt balls are also approx 30mm in diameter (slightly larger than usual). The whole necklace is approx 107 cm long.
Polaris beads have a beautiful lustre that deepens on contact with the skins natural oils. Each large felt ball has two hand felted flower motifs in contrasting colours, which are slightly different on each face.
Please note that this is a lariat style necklace and so has no clasp. It fixes securely in place by passing one end over the other to create a loop. The beads hold it in place with no need for a knot. There are a number of ways and places it can be worn... try looping once or twice round the neck or wrapping around the wrist.
Some of the wooden flowers are hand painted which adds to the charm so please don’t expect a flawless factory finish!
