I was commissioned to make a few birds in the run up to Christmas including robins, blue tits, a black bird (actually a purple bird) and a lovely red Cardinal bird so I thought I'd add to the collection with this Kingfisher

Full description
A beautiful Kingfisher with his freshly caught dinner in his beak. Created in the Tiffany Style with blue, green, white, brown and orange glass cut to shape and copper foiled before being soldered together. The fish is made from textured copper foil and he has copper wire legs. Decorative solder adds detail on the wing and branch and it's finished with a copper patina polished and sealed with silicon wax.
Size is approx. 5 x 5" and it hangs from a light green piece of ribbon
