I started by making a pear shaped beaded wreath with the intention of making it for my dollhouse. Once I added the leaves and the crystals I realised that the imitation opal cabochon looked really beautiful with the colours. The design eventually developed into a piece I call Through the Looking Glass. As an added bonus this piece won a craft challenge run by one of my favourite beading suppliers.
