* Postage is first class Royal Mail, recorded for parcels over £50. I can wrap and send direct to recipient, just let me know. Packaging is recycled and recyclable where appropriate

Full description
A detailed stitched image of a black and white woodpecker, otherwise known as a great spotted woodpecker.
The embroidery is worked in tiny stitches using individual strands of embroidery thread to build up the image. The background and the tree are greenish in colour and contrast with the back and white pied plumage of the bird. And there’s those flashes of crimson on the back of the head and the lower belly - a striking bird altogether.
The textile piece measures 3x3cms and the oak frame is a tad under 11cms square. I took the photos without the glass for clarity, it’s now returned and with a hook on the reverse the picture is ready to display.
