Fossils are so intriguing and interesting. Just the thought of what our earth must have been like when they when these creatures were alive is enough to get the imagination going. Although rare, they can actually be found almost anywhere if you are lucky, and although Ammonite is the most common form of fossil found in the UK it still gave us a real thrill when we stumbled across our own Ammonite fossil when we were just out on an everyday walk. It's such a simple yet enthralling shape that we felt it just had to be captured somehow in our work and here is our stylised interpretation in copper..

Full description
Handmade in our North Yorkshire studio, this Fossil inspired Necklace/Pendant is made from Copper which has been textured and shaped to create the 3D Ammonite inspired shape, which catches the light strikingly as it moves when being worn. It has a single hole at the top with a jump ring that the 16" Stainless Steel Curb Chain is threaded through (or with the option of a 16" Sterling Silver Curb Chain - both chains are pictured on the final photo, the silver chain is the lower one. Please select your preferred option at checkout). The drop is created completely by hand so each piece is unique.
