The leaves were gathered during a New Year's walk in the Millenium Wood at Southill. So many beautiful trees and a carpet of leaves that had recently fallen. I wanted to recreate the experience in ceramics.

Full description
A traditional shaped ceramic plate with well and lip, and a carved footring. It has been thrown on the wheel and textured with leaves in the well when partly dry. The textured design is picked out in iron oxide under a transparent glaze.
Made with foodsafe materials so can be used as a serving platter.
Diameter 23.5cm and 2.5cm high
