Full description
An elegant Victorian style lady holding a single red rose. She is dressed in a beautiful amethyst coloured gown with short puffed sleeves. Two bands circle the middle of the full skirt and between them sit eight clear crystal faceted glass beads. The bottom of the skirt has a scallop edge and below this a white frill representing the under skirt can be seen. The Victorian lady is a brunette and she is wearing an updo hairstyle adorned with a decoration of 3 faceted clear glass beads. A couple of ringlets frame each side of her face. In her hands is a single red rose held close to her face as though smelling it's sweet fragrance.
Every knot of the dress has been hand tied using the technique of macramé.
The dress has been made from a luxurious bamboo cord which gives it a shimmery appearance.
A wooden bead has been used for her head. Her arms are made from recycled cotton and the rose has been made using bakers twine. A piece of purple fabric has been hand stitched across the base to finish.
She stands 22cm tall and her dress is 15cm across at the base.
There is a small piece of florists wire running through the stem of the rose and also threaded through the beads in her hair.
