Inspired by a spine tingling walk through the woods on a wintry afternoon. As the sun began to dip low behind the pines my mind started to imagine all sorts of creatures, real and imagined, watching from the darkening trees. Waiting for their turn.

Full description

A linocut print of a dense forest of trees with the eyes of mysterious creatures staring out at you. Watching, waiting.

This print is completely original and handmade using traditional linocut techniques. The design is hand drawn onto lino before being carved to create a unique linocut block. Each block is then printed by hand burnishing with archival inks onto fine paper.

Due to its handmade nature each print is slightly different making it a unique piece of art.

This print is a4 or roughly 21cm by 27.9cm. It is not framed but delivered in protective packaging.

Designed by Hannah Smith in Totnes
