Full description
A beautiful handmade pottery thrown vase made on my potter's wheel. This vase is made from stoneware which means it is very durable. The clay gives a biscuit speckled colour.
The vase is first thrown then left until it is leather hard, then turned and I add my makers mark. Once dry it is bisque fired then glazed and fired a second time at 1220 oC.
All glazes are lead free. There are 2 glazes on this vasee, Gloss white inside and Gardom's green on the outside. Where they overlap at the neck of the vase there is a range of colours and texture. The glaze colour varies as you turn the vase around making it even more unique and interesting. The vase is small and very very cute! Perfect to show of a rose or single small stem or just as a decorative object.

All my pottery is made by me in small batches. There may be variations in size, colour and shape making each piece delightfully unique.
