Inspired by the Ukrainian tradition of pysanky - decorated eggs. Imagining what it would be like if these eggs weren't decorated by hand but were laid by beautiful birds, with the eggs hatching into birds that take on the pattern of their egg.
This little pysanka chick is a winter bird, it's egg with a snowflake pattern in cold blues and whites.
