Full description

Miniature fused glass picture of a summer meadow planted with sunflowers. The grass and sky are made by initially fusing coloured glass powders onto a base piece of white glass. The scene is built up using glass murrini, vitrigraph and little chips of coloured glass and then fused again to give a layered effect.

The glass panel is 7cm square and it is mounted on a 10cm square slate panel. The slate has been drilled and threaded with a cord ready for wall hanging, or it could be displayed on a shelf or windowsill using a stand as shown in image 3. The slate has protective bumpers on the back.
