I love model houses and was inspired to produce tea light homes. The tiny robin makes them suitable for Christmas ornaments although they can be used all year round . How lovely to light a candle and see the light through the windows and front door.

Full description
Handthrown ceramic tea light candle holder in the shape of a little house with a little robin on the roof.
I threw these little tealight houses by hand on my potter's wheel then altered them to form windows and doors and a tiny robin was had formed and applied. Once fired to biscuitware each was hand painted and glazed and fired once more to earthenware.

These tealights look very effective with the candle alight and would make a lovely Christmas gift. Each has a hand made quality and character of their own. Whether teamed with a little ceramic tree or sitting alone.
