My favourite time in summer is when the Nidderdale hills are covered in Heather turning the landscape into a mass of pinks, purples and mauves. Beautiful.

Handmade in the UK
Small Landscape
Three tiny sheep grazing on heathery hills. This small felt painting is full of texture and fibres. It has many shades of purple and pink and is embellished with hand embroidery, beads and splashes of silk fibre.
Made using wool from our flock of North Country Mule Ewes (please see my about section for more information) along with Merino wool and silk fibres.
This picture was made by alternating many layers of wool then wet felting followed by needle felting and finally free motion embroidery. A technique that takes many hours.
This original signed felt art is presented in a white frame without glass.
