An evocative abstract landscape, crafted in wool felt and supplied in a premiunm black box frame.
This unique piece was made in response to time spent in Iceland. I have hand felted wool fibre, some of it from Iceland, to depict my experience of the raw weather on that trip.
Tencel fibres have been laid on the surface of wool. These are then distorted by the felting process, leaving an effect that suggests the weather's wild energy.
This piece will lend its warmth to your space - a reminder of nature's raw power. It will also make a wonderful gift for any lover of the great outdoors.
"Icelandic Weather" is supplied mounted in a premium black shadow frame, which allows the rich textures to be seen. The frame is suitable for desk or wall display.
