Nature is my inspiration, and when it's not leaves, it's water and waves.
I created this little lino cut last year to use in my artwork, inspired by a carving challenge on Instagram in December, and I've used it a lot in my artwork.
For this piece I painted the backing paper first and printed on top.
Then the collage was sewn onto beautifully textured avocado green handmade paper (not made by me).
The final touch is the sewing at the bottom, echoing the waves on the sea .
