My Folksy shop has been dozing through the Summer Craft Fair season, but now I'm back in the Workshop, making lovely new things and taking photos.
I'll be adding new items here as quickly as I can. However, anything you have seen on my stall or on another website should be available to buy through Folksy - just message me and I'll re-stock the item here.
The variety of British wools is amazing! For hundreds of years we have bred sheep to suit the type of land and to produce wool for a range of purposes. Named for the town in North Yorkshire, Masham sheep are created by crossing a Teeswater ram with a Swaledale or Dalesbred ewe. The result is a medium sized sheep with very long and lustrous fleece. They have been bred for over a century in the north of England. Lovely soft wool that I use for hats and gloves.

Full description
Subtle style in grey and natural cream. I have used pure British Masham wool to hand-knit this lovely women’s beanie hat. It is knitted to a design based on traditional Fairisle, with a stretchy ribbed welt to keep your ears warm. The sweet little "Roses Workshop" brand label is laser etched faux leather.
Renewable and sustainable - British wool is the ultimate in eco-friendly slow fashion material.
I have knitted this lovely hat with needles, not on a machine. It is hand-knitted "in-the-round" so there are no ugly or uncomfortable seams. To fit average adult head size 55-60cm and slightly stretchy for a comfortable fit.
This gorgeous hat will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. The postage show is for the whole parcel - save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
