Full description
This brooch is based on a copper octagon on which I have built up several layers of clear enamel. I have then fired a layer of dark blue enamel over this base and after that, scatterings of white, purple and yellow enamel through which I drew a steel point when the piece was red hot, to make the unique, random pattern.
The octagon measures 36mm side to side. I have soldered a 26mm brooch bar to it.
