As I've been making LP Clocks and I had some old/scratched/random CD I thought I would turn these into useful coasters with acrylic paint pouring technique. They are small pockets of colour and would grace any surface whilst protecting from hot mugs & cups.

These beautiful bespoke and original CD Coasters are a great way to have usable art. These are in a lovely colour scheme of phthalo green, deep purple, white with an iridescent sheen. The acrylic paint pouring method has created these lovely coasters with swirls, cells, lacing and great patterns. These would look great anywhere a coaster may be needed and I've had created each one individually but as part of this set of 4. Each coasters colour theme in this set is the same but each coaster has a different pattern which is quite normal for this technique,
I use a heat resistant varnish so that they will withstand being used with hot mugs or for that lovely glass of chilled wine? This does give a slight yellow effect but this does work ok with the patterns of the coasters. I use a heat resistant varnish, they may be a bit sticky to start with but this doesn't last long. I think this is a very good coating for the coasters as so when used with a hot mug/cup it doesn't affect the lovely pattern.
They all have a non slip backing to protect your table and keep it where it should be.
This set comes in cellophane packing and tied with rustic string which sets the look off in a modern way.
Each pack has 4 coaster in it.
AFTER CARE- These are to be wiped clean with a damp cloth on the patterned side. Please do not immerse in water or put in a dishwasher as may destroy the coaster.
