Full description
After selling out of all of my ready made embroideries this item is made to order so will take 1-3 weeks until it's ready to wend its way through the postal system to you. If you need it by a specific date just send me a message and I'll see what I can do to speed up the process.
This free motion machine embroidery shows Romeo and Juliet in the famous 'holy palmers' kiss' scene from Shakespeare's classic play. The image has been stitched directly on top of a canvas print displaying the original text from the novel that inspired my work. This is part of a larger textile art series I've created inspired by the wonderful characters and stories within classic literature.
Stitched on canvas using a freehand machine embroidery technique, no pre-programmed computer aided design here. This makes each item original with inevitable variations between the pieces in this limited edition run of 25. All work has been signed and dated by me on the back of the canvas.
Item Details
This piece is No. 3 in a limited edition run of 25. Measurements including the frame are 17.3cm wide and 12.2cm in height. The frame is made from wood and glass, and can be wall mounted or free standing.
