Lovingly hand embroidered by me, this mini movie moment is taken from Casablanca, you know the heart wrenching scene I'm talking about! 'here's looking at you kid...'
Inspired by some of the most iconic scenes that have graced the silver screen through the years I have created this new and miniature textile art series.
This piece has been stitched on to cotton, backed with iron on interfacing and then framed in an IKEA 'Tysslinge' frame. Each embroidery measures approx. 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm (1.7" x 1.3"). The frames measure approx. 8 cm x 9 cm (3.1" x 3.5") with a depth of 3.5 cm (1.3"). These deep frames are free standing but could be adapted to hang on the wall. Every embroidery is signed and dated on the back.
