2018 marked 100 years since the first women in the UK won the right to vote. As a passionate voter myself, I wanted to created a collection of jewellery to mark the occasion. Where better to draw inspiration than from the powerful legacy of The Suffragettes, after all I wouldn't be able to make a single mark on any ballot paper without their courageous campaigning. For my design, I've particularly drawn on the iconic purple, green and white Suffragette colour palette, which was often also reflected in the jewellery they wore at the time.
