Full description
Handmade fused glass winter scene, lovely to display at Christmas, but subtle enough to be on show outside the festive period.
A background of pale grey opaque glass has been decorated with glass powders in a lovely blue fir colour, and the addition of a sprinkling of white glass chips gives the appearance of snowflakes.
The sheet and powdered glass have been fused together in the kiln at a temperature that maintains a slight texture to the snowflakes. The fused sheet has then been re-fired over a steel mould to produce a freestanding curved panel.
The piece stands 9cm high and is 15cm across the back of the curve.
Perfect for display on a windowsill or shelf.
