G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Processing times are extended over Christmas and New Year.

ATTENTION: Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I currently cannot justify the expense of appointing an EU agent that is required.

Here is another brilliant collaboration with Moda fabric and the Victoria and Albert Museum, featuring Voysey's patterns.

Charles Voysey was one of the most influential architects and designers of all forms of decorative art working at the end of the 19th century. From the late 1880s he designed repeating patterns for wallpaper, woven and printed textiles and carpets.

Voysey's most interesting designs date from this time and show the influence of William Morris's principles of pattern design and use of plant forms and animals as standard motifs. Voysey's textiles are dominated by flowing patterns incorporating birds, deer, hearts, flowers and trees in silhouette and many of his designs were sold through Liberty in London.

Full description

A cute squirrel, hopping from tree to Oak tree gathering nuts features in this striking fabric button pendant!

Created using some gorgeous Voysey designed fabric from the V&A archives – this olive and dark green combination is very striking and you can see the naturalist Arts and Crafts style has angular nods going towards the Art Deco period.

I have created a flat back button featuring this 100% cotton fabric with a squirrel sitting in an oak tree in the bottom left of the pendant, surrounded by oak leaves and acorns above the little squirrel.

I have then set this button within an antique bronze plated pendant setting (which has a lovely dotted pattern to the back!).

The fabric button itself measures 38mm, but set within the pendant surround measures 4cm wide by 5cm long – this includes the bail. I have added an antique bronze plated 18 inch (45 cm) flat oval trace chain, the links of the chain measure 4.5 x 3 mm and there’s a 12mm lobster clasp at one end. The chain and pendant blank are both nickel and lead free. You do have the option of a longer chain: 20, 22 or 24 inches.

This lovely unique pendant will come to you safe and carefully packaged in a UK Made eco-friendly recycled kraft card jewellery box (hand-folded by me!) - perfect for gifting to that Autumn, oak tree or squirrel fan (or as a treat for yourself!)
