This beautiful copper window decoration has been designed around the central crystal prism - also known as a rainbow catcher or rainbow maker! The facets on the crystal refract the light - creating dozens of little rainbows around the room when caught by direct sun. Hang near an open window to catch the breeze as well for the full rainbow disco ball effect! This stunning window decoration would make a wonderful and unusual housewarming gift.

The hanging consists of a thick wire frame for the crystal, which I have then wrapped with finer wire in an organic, swirly pattern. Three copper dangles hang from the bottom, each made from two separate sections. These are wrapped in a matching looping pattern and each section has an 8mm faceted Emerald Green glass bead at the end.

The hanging is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, but the rainbow effect will be more impressive inside. The hanging has been polished but will tarnish gradually to dark brown / black. It can be cleaned using a copper cleaning solution / cloth. The crystal should be gently polished to keep the full rainbow effect!

It comes with a length of nylon thread for hanging, but of course you could swap this for a cord or ribbon to match your colour scheme. The crystal is 2cm at the widest point. The hanging measures 13cm long by 4cm wide. I will post it out first class, wrapped in tissue paper, inside a cardboard box.
