Full description
Phoenix tote bag. A magical bag in mid-blue fabric with an appliqué phoenix. The phoenix is made from two matching fabrics in red, orange and dark pink, along with beautiful shiny gold lamé. The main body of the phoenix is dark pink with orange elongated spots. The spots have a slight sheen. I've used a black sequin for the bird's eye. The main parts of the wings and tail feathers are made from matching fabric with wavy stripes in red, orange and dark pink, and again, the orange stripes have a slight sheen. The edges of the wings and part of the tail are made from beautiful gold lamé which has a high sheen and reflects the light, enhancing the feel of magic and fire. Below the phoenix I've added a scattering of gold and red holographic sequin stars of differing sizes. These give a lovely sparkly effect and symbolise the phoenix rising from the embers and showering sparks behind it. The bag lining is gorgeous red damask fabric with a pattern of large plum purple flowers.
This versatile and magical tote bag, with its unusual phoenix design, would be perfect for anyone who likes fantasy and mythical creatures.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, so the bag can be used as a shoulder bag or handbag.
