I'm lucky enough to have Brown Hares living close by to our cottage. I've always been passionate about these amazing beings for many reasons. Their physical shape and speed for one, their ancient wisdom and knowing holds even more interest to me.

Long before humans were on Earth the Hare was here and able to commune between worlds as we once were. Steeped in Druid tradition the Hare holds a wisdom we would do very well to seek to remember and apply in our lives. Ask Hare to help you to find balance, fertility and abundance, as well as developing your intuitive capabilities and watch carefully for the signs that will appear around you, guiding you onwards and deeper...

Creating this piece was a true joy for me, working with vibrant soft pastels on Maize Pastelmat on a 40cm x 30cm sheet, I always take special pleasure in working in close up with the wild souls I feel called to create. This piece is a part of my new collection Wild Souls.

I will carefully package and post this piece to you, printing to order from my wonderful printers who are experts in Sinterix Printing onto Conqueror Wove High White substrate, acid free and FSC approved.

I love Hares. They fascinate me and I always get so excited and humbled whenever I see them out on walks and sometimes from our bedroom window. Ethereal and enigmatic, Hares flit between this physical world and the other worlds, effortlessly and with great purpose and honour. It is an honour to encounter them and to ask for their guidance and wisdom.

As with so many of the amazing wildlife species on Earth, Hares are persecuted and are in real threat from our kind. I wish to support their protection and so donate 10% of all sales of all Hare art I create to The Hare Preservation Trust, as they work hard to protect these beautiful and much needed beings.
