This distinctive plaque is part of our Mythic Wisdom Range, a collection inspired by ancient legends, symbolic creatures, and the quiet power they carry.
Each piece is hand carved into solid honed granite using the traditional sand carving method, creating a beautifully tactile, enduring finish. Measuring 210mm x 297mm, 10mm thick, and weighing around 1.5kg, it is then carefully hand painted to bring every sculpted detail to life with depth, warmth, and character.
A striking fusion of myth and meaning, this handcrafted plaque features a majestic griffinguardian of treasures and symbol of couragepoised in quiet strength atop a rugged stone. Rendered in a bold, metallic-like finish against a deep, shadowed backdrop, the griffin’s raised wings and curled tail speak of vigilance and grace.
Beneath this noble creature, the Latin inscription Virtus in Silentio (“Strength in Silence”) is etched in Gothic script, inviting reflection and resilience. This piece offers a powerful reminder: true virtue often speaks in stillness.
Hand rendered with care and beautifully presented in a sturdy black gift box, complete with a pair of easel stands and finished with a slender ribbon, postage and packaging are included free of charge.
