Full description
Floral fairy tote bag with mushrooms. This lovely turquoise tote bag has appliqué panels cut from pretty floral fairies print fabric in pastel shades of mainly pink and green on a white background. A large circular panel features a female fairy in a zesty green dress sitting on a mushroom alongside smaller mushrooms, a strawberry plant and a snail. A smaller square panel overlaps the circular one and features a butterfly in similar colours to the fairy's wings. I’ve edged the panels with machine-embroidered turquoise decorative stitching and then frayed the fabric edges to give a lovely shabby chic effect. At the edge of the panels I've added two clusters of duck-egg blue felt flowers which I’ve secured in place with lazy daisies in matching thread. I've also added a few extra embroidered lazy daisies. The bag is lined with pretty pale blue fabric with white ditsy flowers.
This delightful tote bag, with its pretty floral fairy fabric and embroidered flowers, would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves fairies and fantasy.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end, so the bag can be used as a shoulder bag or handbag.
