Glass and Stainless Steel, modern industrial materials used with a delicate touch to create unique, modern and easy to wear jewellery designs.
Why Stainless Steel? It will stay shiny unlike silver which will need polishing form time to time.
Stainless steel is often described as hypoallergenic and the nickel content is very low. All of my findings are 304 stainless steel which has an even lower nickel content than Surgical Steel which is used for medical equipment.
Each individual bead is created by hand by lampwork artist Jolene Wolfe with molten glass in the torch flame and cooled slowly in a kiln to create beautiful beads that are strong and free from internal stress. The beads are then cleaned and inspected before being strung into wearable art.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Colour Swatch Necklace – Brick
Dark Amber, Warm Brown and Mahogany
The beads for each Colour Swatch necklace are hand crafted to order by me in my small home glassworking studio. Every bead is handmade which will result in slight variations, making each item beautifully unique to you.
This necklace features 18 mini lampwork beads held in place with slider beads on a delicate 2mm stainless steel ball chain made to your perfect length.
The Colour Swatch series created with mini handmade glass beads in 3 complimenting colours. You can choose to have your beads glossy or tumble etched for a silky matt finish.
The process used to tumble etch each glass bead mimics the natural etching process of the action of waves on glass. There are no harsh chemicals used to create the soft matt look of these tumble etched glass beads.
Your purchase will arrive wrapped in tissue paper and an organza bay.
