G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

I love to grow all kinds of lowers - including sunflowers and this fabric was so lovely, I thought it would make a lovely set of brooches!
The Latin name for Sunflower is Helianthus, named after Helios, the Greek god of the sun!

The sunflower - always a joyous looking flower following the sun as it tracks the sky! Here you can wear a little sunflower around all day with this cute fabric button brooch!
Perfect for wearing on your favourite jacket on a walk through the woods or park, this brooch is made from high quality 100% cotton harvest inspired fabric that features pumpkins and sunflowers with little red berries, leaves and gold swirls on a cream background.
I have selected a sunflower design from the fabric, with accents of red berries - then created a 28mm fabric covered flat backed button!
I then glued a birch plywood wooden disc to the reverse of the button and added an antique bronze brooch back with safety catch.
I have painted the wooden disc on the reverse with a golden yellow mica pigment paint, which sparkles with the glittery mica and then sealed this with a satin acrylic varnish.
As the brooch measures just under 3cm, it is an ideal accessory for a jacket, jumper or blouse or to attach to a shopping bag or rucksack!
It will come to you safe and carefully packaged in a UK Made eco-friendly recycled kraft card jewellery box - perfect for gifting to that Autumn fan or nature lover (or as a treat for yourself!
