I have a collection of glass nuggets. Any spare space in my kiln is always filled with an odd nugget of two. I have all sorts of shapes and sizes and I make several other colours of this nugget ring design. I realised I had several blue nuggets so decided to try the design in blue. Love it. Hope you do.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I've called this Blue Water and it is to the same design as my Rainbow Circles but this time in shades of water, blue, glorious blue.
I've included a super mix of lots of glass nuggets, which I have fused myself in my kiln, incorporating quite a lot of dichroic glass which will rather magically alter their colour in different lights.
There are some really interesting designs in the nuggets - just use your imagination to see what they are.
The suncatcher is framed for strength and neatness with twisted wire.
This is 14cms in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
This is totally individual and I am really pleased with it.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
I can never make another just the same as this, as each fused nugget is quite unique and therefore unrepeatable.
