"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to beautiful" - William Morris. This is the inspiration for my work.
The stylised leaf motif is a great favourite of mine for use in printing, making books and paper collage. I like working in limited collections with slight differences and I have a LOT of paper pieces as off-cuts from other projects. My plan chest in the corner of my kitchen (aka my studio!) is full of them.
This particular series of images came out of an online workshop on various aspects of Collage Fodder, inspired by Willa Wanders (Instagram).

This leaf motif paper collage is a collection of paper snippets used for other projects sewn onto a watercolour paper background and features a gorgeous printed leaf motif.
Postcard sized (approx. 10 x 15 cm) this original piece of artwork comes unframed and will be carefully wrapped for posting in recycled packaging.
This is a series of 8 similar postcards each featuring the leaf motif with varying colours of papers in the background. Have a look at my other listings.
Watercolour paper, various papers featuring marbling, printing and texturing, cut motif and machine sewn in place.
The back features my designer stamp.
