Made With Mud Aurora Borealis mug.
This piece has been thrown on the wheel using stoneware clay. Which is a more resilient clay for functional pottery.
The mug is slowly dried before firing, glazed then fired again to over 1200°
This piece has been hand carved to simulate mountains and pine trees. Then the glaze has been added in such a way to look like the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. Creating a beautiful mountain scene.
It stands approximately 13cm tall and holds approximately 500ml.
The mug is dishwasher proof but not recommended.
Not recommended for microwave use.
