This oval felt picture shows a dragonfly hovering over a bank of flowers, creating a lovely summertime scene to decorate and hang in the home. The dragonfly is a button sewn onto pale green felt with felt flowers in shade of blue, yellow and orange. These flowers have hand embroidered petals in Lazy Daisy Stitches, encrusted with centres of seed beads. They sit in a bank of long green grass, hand embroidered in Long and Short Stitches with green seed beads. This picture decoration is edged with a border of Chain and Running Stitches in dark blue thread to tone in with the blue felt that frames the picture.

This hanging decoration is 5 by 3 inches. A long ribbon loop (3 inches) is secured with two small blue buttons front and back, enables this Dragonfly picture to hang in the home ..... on a hook, over a picture frame...... decorating the home in a summertime way.
