Full description
This miniature seascape has been made using a wet felting technique. Merino wool fibres from the main background and various other wool and silk fibres and small silk fabric pieces have been added to the surface prior to felting. Hand embroidery has been added to the finished piece to add additional detail and enhance the picture. The final felted piece has then been mounted on a piece of white card measuring 3.5" x 2.5", the size of an ACEO. The photographs show both the final piece and also the piece displayed in a 5” x 7” mount (not included). The picture will be shipped with a small envelope to enable it to be given as a gift.
