Floral fairy tote bag with daisies and butterflies. This tote bag in coral pink fabric has appliqué panels cut from pretty floral fairies print fabric in pastel shades of green and pink on a white background. The largest panel features a female fairy in a pretty green dress standing amongst daisies with a pink butterfly on her outstretched hand. There are three smaller panels showing a pink butterfly and daisies. I’ve edged the panels with machine-embroidered dark pink looped decorative stitching and then frayed the edges of the fabric. Between the panels I've hand-embroidered a scattering of pale pink lazy daisies and added some pale pink felt flowers which I’ve stitched in place with further lazy daisies in darker pink thread. The lining is pretty pale pink and white gingham fabric with an overlaid pattern of ditsy white flowers.
This delightful tote bag, with its combination of pretty floral fairy fabric and embroidered flowers, would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves fairies and fantasy.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are approx. 24 inches (60cm) from end to end and are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or carried as a handbag.
