This beautiful Fairy is wearing a stunning red dress, decorated with gold embellishments. I have called her Carmen.
Carmen has a hollow under her skirt allowing her to sit on top of a Christmas tree., although she may need help to be totally secure sat on top. She can stand on her own and could easily be used as an Christmas ornament or table decoration. She has been made in the Waldorf tradition to allow your imagination to fill in the details on her face.
The fairy has been lovingly made by wet felting and needle felting. Her dress is sheep's wool in multi toned reds with a hint of white with a golden sparkly thread running through. Beads, sequins and hand gathered ribbon are hand stitched to the dress. A piece of vintage blanket lines her skirt
Her wings are made from a light weight sparkly gold open weave fabric.
Her hair is multitoned pinks and grey curly wool locks, topped with a gold band, the ends plaited hanging down her back ending in a mass of golden threads. In her hands is a needle felted yellow star adorned with sparkly sequins. The lights catch all these sparkly adornments.
The fairy measures 7 ins tall not including the gold hanging loop which measures 2 ins.
She is delicate and care should be taken when placing her on your tree. Store her carefully in the box and packing she arrives in.
She is not a toy and should be kept away from children and pets.
