The price of wool has fallen dramatically on the international market, so we have decided to add value by having our wool processed and make it available for the craft & textile market where the special qualities of wool will be appreciated.

Full description

Hand sheared from our organic, sustainably reared, romney lambs providing a fine, white, lustrous, long crimped fibre for spinning, felting, dying and textile art. We shear the sheep twice a year using local farmers who we know and are very good at handling the sheep and making them feel relaxed while they have their biannual hair cut. The fleece is then sent to be washed and carded in Yorkshire, providing us with soft, versatile, fibres.

Romney Wool

Approx. 200 g

Colour is creamy white and will take dye beautifully.

26 - 35 microns
