Who can resist the sight of a hare in the fields. I see them when cycling through the Yorkshire countryside.

A wall hanging showing a hare gazing at a big moon in the night sky. Ivy climbs up one side with a pair of mushrooms on the other side.
This moon gazing hare wall hanging is a lovely idea for a baby shower gift, a new baby gift or just to decorate your own home. Suspend it on your door, wall or window.
Measures 22 cms across.
I have made this wall art using unspun wool fibre and a sharp needle.
The frame is a wire hoop, covered with wool. Onto this base are attached individual ivy leaves I have made. Strands of hand spun yarn represent the stems. . I have made a moon gazing hare and placed it looking up at a needle felted moon. Wool curls represent moss and ferns. Two mushrooms are on one side of the hare.
A simple ribbon has been looped around the frame to hang. These can easily be replaced to one of your chosen colour once you have received the hoop.
I use mainly recycled packaging.
