I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING ITEMS FROM THIS SHOP TO MY OTHER FOLKSY SHOP 'Lynwoodcrafts' where they will be waiting for you to view them! All my items now feature upcycled, recycled, repurposed or gifted materials and there is no longer any distinction between the two shops!
I love patchwork and the simple embroidery was a pleasure to stitch. The pincushion is designed to post as a 'Large Letter'. Small parcel post would have cost £2.50 more. The pincushion is, I think , plump enough. As a precaution, a sheet of recycled plastic has been inserted in the base prior to stuffing - this should act as a barrier to pin points!

Full description
A pretty and practical, patchwork, hand-embroidered pink and white pincushion stitched from vintage and reclaimed fabrics. The back of the pincushion is cut from recycled shirt fabric. Simple embroidery has been worked in pink and green threads over the patchwork seems. The pincushion is filled with polyester wadding.
The pincushion is designed to post as a 'Large Letter'. Small parcel post would have cost £2.50 more. The pincushion is, I think , plump enough. As a precaution, a sheet of recycled plastic, cut from a milk bottle, has been inserted into the base, prior to stuffing - this should act as a barrier to pin points!
