Full description
This lovely hand crafted rollerball collectors pen has real periwinkle sea shells held within the bright green resin. These shells are from the beach that has formed behind Churchill Barrier No.4, between Burray and South Ronaldsay. The lovely green colour I have used is inspired by the early summer grass that grows on the sand dunes behind the beach, where Little Terns nest in the summer. The transparency of the colour allows light to pass through this unique pen, illuminating the seashells within. The tip on this artisan executive pen is fairly short with a rounded taper, while the body has a broad radius from the cap thread and a pronounced taper. The cap has a more gentle taper and a rounded end, and the triple-lead thread allows it to be quickly removed. The pen uses a standard Parker refill and the radiused step up from the tip section to the body makes this visually stunning pen very easy to write with. The pen is 158mm with the cap attached. With the cap removed for writing it is 125mm long, about 19mm at its’ widest and weighs 34g.
The price includes post and packing.
