Full description

This fascinating collectors artisan rollerball pen is entirely hand made. Some of my pens use metal components that I buy from specialist suppliers, but this pen has none of those. Every part of the pen except the refill is made entirely by me. It has periwinkle and clam sea shells held within the amber coloured resin binder. These Orkney seashells came from the beach that has formed behind Churchill Barrier No.4, between Burray and South Ronaldsay, so with this pen in your pocket you will forever have a small piece of Orkney with you. The deep yellow colour resembles amber (fossilised tree resin), and allows light to refract through the pen, illuminating the seashells within the pen. The cigar-shaped pen has a wide parallel body along 2/3rds of its' length, then tapers down to the rounded end, the yellow coloured tip section also has parallel sides and a gentle curve to the point. The cap is parallel for half its' length, then a gentle taper down to a rounded end. The triple-lead thread allows cap and body to be separated quickly and easily. The pen uses a standard Parker refill and the 2mm step up from the cap thread to the body makes this stunning pen very easy to write with. The pen is quite long at 166mm with the cap attached. With the cap removed for writing it is 142mm, about 20mm at its’ widest and weighs 39g.

The price includes post and packing.
