I AM UPDATING PRODUCT BOXES FOR JEWELLERY AND DECORATIONS WHICH WILL TAKE AWHILE, IF YOU PURCHASE YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ORDER IN THE NEW BOXES AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
I love collecting things discarded, lost, forgotten, damaged or just not wanted any more. My favourite places are rivers and beaches, but also find great things at recycling centres and charity shops. I’m lucky to live near the River Tees, Co Durham and often walk the banks picking up broken glass, pottery anything that can be cleaned and re-created into something new. Bits and bobs of lives all waiting to find new homes.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
Hand crafted Jewellery and framed artworks using pre loved and discarded ceramics. Ceramic material will show signs of wear. Entire process is a creative experience from discovery to final picture, nothing planned or preconceived. All materials personally collected from river banks, charity shops, roadside, woods, recycle centres, beaches, wherever dropped, dumped or donated ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Each titled piece comes with bio of where the ceramic came from, known history, original information and when the artwork was created. Some ceramics collected are used as found, while others are cut randomly which will shape the final picture. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns in ceramics there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Percy Beck, River Tees January 2021
Re-Created into pendant February 2021
In January 2021 I found this wonderful piece of pot, Percy Beck, River Tees, Barnard Castle. It was face down and I thought it was just another piece of white pot. When I picked it up I saw it was badly stained but the texture was lovely.
I soaked the shard, sanded/sealed and drilled a hole. I love the way the stain has enhanced the look and the shape was perfect for a pendant. I’ve no idea what this piece has come from but I many years ago I bought an old indoor plant pot from a boot sale and it was very similar in texture and colour. Whatever it was this shard has spent a long time floating down Percy Beck to be found in February 2021.
The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect or highly polished but instead to capture some of the original character.
Delivered in recycled materials, brown gift box, small brown gift bag and short bio.
The pendant is hanging on non leather woven cord, 44cm plus 5cm extender.
Shard measures approximately 40mm x 22mm x 5mm.
