George was inspired by my own pet. An adorable little black cat who was loving and care free but did wear an expression of annoyance or moodiness most of the time. I think I have caught his character and I think that this little chap will remind people of the idiosyncrasies of their own beloved pets.
I find great joy and comfort in the sculpting and hand casting of my figures and hope their own individual personality comes through.

Why is George moody?
George Is a lovely cat but he has a rather stern look that seems to make up his facial features 99% of the time.
Don't let that put you off. Affection is what he craves and he is sure to love you back!
Each figure is approx 10cm x 8.5 cm
George is a hand sculpted and cast. Starting life as a lump of polymer clay he was shaped and made by myself and based upon one of my wonderful pets - who give me so much inspiration.
A mould is then taken and he is then hand cast using PolyStone which is a tough form of Gypsum made for sculptures and miniature making.
Painted using Acrylic paints the completed figure is then protected by multiple coats of satin Varnish.
Each piece is made by hand and as such there will be some small differences in colour/tone/and hue.
George will be shipped in safe sturdy packaging to ensure he reaches his new home in one piece.
