I love making red flambe porcelain cups and mugs because I am told by returning customers that they often get used regularly. I want to engage with people by providing them with something thoughtfully handmade that fits into their daily routine. The base is flat for drainage in a dishwasher additionally decorated for enjoyment when handling.

Full description

An elegant red and white porcelain mug with deep red colours where the glaze is thick and breaking to white if thinner. This wheel thrown mug is perfect for a relaxing mulled wine, coffee or an exotic tea. It was thrown with a UK porcelain and, after biscuit firing and glazing the piece was fired to 1300C to make it impermeable and durable. The mug is food, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe and measures approximately 10cm tall and 8cm wide. The bottom is impressed with my seal, the letter P, and its identity number 9932.
