Item details

A set of handmade, printed background papers featuring a collage of vintage stamps and embellishments. You will receive 10 printed papers (5 x A5 size and 5 x A6 size) and 9 die cut / ephemera vintage women cut outs.

The background were created by me using actual pieces (not digital images) from my collections which were photographed and recoloured. Some of the cut out women feature in the designs.

The papers are professionally printed onto 100gsm white matt paper, single sided and in full colour, and the women cuts outs are printed onto 200gsm silk card.

In each pack, the papers are slightly different in colour (I mixed and matched the colours for each pack), although the cut out women are all the same for each pack.

I love making and collecting ephemera and embellishments, but I have enough to last me a lifetime! I spend a lot of time organising my ephemera into colour themes, which helps me when I am using them for a particular project. I store them in transparent wallets, which helps to easily identify pieces. For this particular piece, I created a collage using actual pieces, and then photographed them in situ, and then recoloured them.
